Word Driven Church from the Beginning

Word Driven Church is a church that believes in the Word of God, it is a church where we are so motivated in doing everything the Bible says we must do, and condone every wrongdoing according to the Holy Scriptures. Word Driven Church started in 2012 September by Pastor Aaron Mkhonto and Pastor Dintshi Mkhonto with a Crusade that was held in a tent at Witbank, Klarinet Extension 6. We had a tent that could only accommodate 50 people maximum, however by the grace of the Lord, we have moved from Level 1 to another Level, and the Lord our God is still moving us, to another dimension.

Previously were known as Deliverance of Souls Ministries, and in 2017 we changed our name to Word Driven Church, because we believe that any soul can be delivered only if you allow the Word of God to drive your life. Our slogan says "We Are Influential" as the Word of God in Matthew 4:15 says "You (We) are the light of the world. A city located on a hill cannot be hidden." And Psalms 119:105 says "Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."

It has never been an easy road for us, as we faced lots of challenges. We were once kicked out by the municipality where we used to pitch our tent, as they wanted to develop that space, and one of our members permitted us to use her place every Sunday to erect the tent and fellowship together. In 2014 we bought a bigger tent which could accommodate 300 people, and by then we moved to a vacant land where we started confessing the Word of God quoting the Book of Joshua 1:3 where God was speaking to the Israelites saying "I am handing over to you every place you set foot, as I promised Moses" and we believed that everything we were confessing to the Lord was already happening in the spiritual realm.

Then in 2016 God said to me (Pastor Aaron Mkhonto), I must declare that in June 2016 we will be building our first phase building, and by the Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ we managed to have our 2017 Easter's Conference in our very beautiful building, that can accommodate 500 people excluding our Children's Ministry Worship Place, which takes 200 Children.

We believe that soon we will be starting with our second phase of the building,and apart that we committed as the church that we don't wanna loose focus on what we are called to do, we still wanna win more souls for the Kingdom of God, and we will do whatever it takes to go all out to preach the good news to the people and make them the disciples of Christ as He said in Matthew 28:19.
